- Built an autonomous Mars rover for University Rover Challenge in the US and European Rover Challenge in Poland with a different design and software architecture each year.
- Working on autonomous navigation of rover. Using sensors such as GPS, IMU, LiDAR, depth cameras on the robot.
- Testing navigation algorithms on simulation in gazebo environment created for the rover.
- Customizing navigation stacks such as robot_navigation and ROS navigation stack and testing on the rover.
- Designing and writing the state machine for autonomous navigation tasks.
- Worked on estimating the world coordinates of small objects using depth cameras and object detection methods such as YOLO with ROS. Worked with NVIDIA Jetson AGX.
